SF horror film: "Crimes of the Future"

Wouldn't it be nice to live in a world without pain? Judging by the new trailer for the SF horror film "Crimes of the Future", it seems that it would not, so new thrills are sought in a very unusual and creepy way. Even this trailer is not for everyone, so we warn you before watching that this is a red band trailer. The writer and director of the film is David Cronenberg (The Fly, Maps to the Stars), so you can roughly guess what awaits you because the king of body horror is back.

The plot is set in the near future, where the human species adapts to a synthetic environment, and the body undergoes new transformations and mutations. With his partner Caprice, Saul Tenser, the famous artist publicly displays the metamorphosis of his organs in avant-garde performances. Timlin, an investigator from the National Organ Registry, obsessively follows their movements, and then a mysterious group is revealed. Their mission is to use Saul's notoriety to shed light on the next phase of human evolution. The movie takes place in a depopulated waterfront city where the carcasses of rusted, barnacle-covered ships languish on the shore. There, in shadowy streets and derelict buildings, men and women roam, often without apparent purpose, as if heavily medicated or perhaps blasted by that collective devastation called reality.

Main roles are Viggo Mortensen (Green Book), Léa Seydoux (No Time to Die), Kristen Stewart (Spencer), Scott Speedman (You), Tanaya Beatty (Yellowstone), Nadia Litz (Big Muddy), Yorgos Karamichos (The Durrells), Yorgos Pirpassopoulos (Beckett), Welket Bungué (Berlin Alexanderplatz), Don McKellar (Blindness) and Lihi Kornowski (Losing Alice).

"Crimes of the Future" had its premiere at this year's Cannes Film Festival. After that, the film arrived in cinemas.  So for all horror lovers  "Step into the heart of darkness." and enjoy!
