Space organization: The biggest mistakes we make

Chaos often accompanies people in difficult moments of life, becoming a companion to depression and intense experiences. But in this case, the question of exhausting attempts to maintain cleanliness usually does not arise, and the need to build an inner balance comes to the fore.

If you have put a lot of effort into living in a pleasant space, but moments of harmony are still short-lived, and attempts to change something do not yield any results, analyze your approach to organization. Maybe the 5 most common mistakes we have highlighted will help you with that.

You don't look at the number of things in relation to the availability of space

It is impossible to organize things if they significantly exceed the spatial possibilities. After a closer look, about half of the stuff in practice will turn out to be not so functional and important. Get rid of the excess.

You do not use vertical space

Don't overlook the potential of vertical space. Use the walls, which will visually fill the rooms and help them look more beautiful. In addition, vertically organized storage will reduce the amount of cleaning and significantly simplify its process.

You ignore places where small things accumulate

The coffee table, desk and shelf in the hallway attract small objects like magnets. It is useless to fight it, but it is quite possible to prevent the creation of a mess. We offer two effective ways - using woven baskets or transparent organizers for small things, or choosing furniture with built-in drawers that can accommodate a lot of things.

You use deep drawers

It is extremely inconvenient to use wardrobes that have deep drawers, especially when clothes are arranged in classic horizontal piles. Use display shelves and stack things vertically to reduce clutter.

You're overcomplicating

The ease of navigating in everyday life is the main advantage of a functional layout. Do not complicate your life by unnecessary reorganization and dividing things into many subcategories, because the space should ultimately adapt to your needs, not you to it.

And remember - order in the living space also brings order and peace to the head, so a clean, well-arranged and organized living space is very important.
