Tarantino revealed details from a new film he is preparing: 'There will be an Italian bandit, an evil German sheriff ...'

Quentin Tarantino, 58, an American film director and screenwriter, wants his latest, tenth film to be a comedy, reports the Guardian.

I want to direct a spaghetti western in which all the characters will speak a different language,” said the director of the successful 2019 film hit, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” starring Brad Pitt and Leonardo di Caprio.

Tarantino revealed this information at the Rome Film Festival, where he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award.

"The film will be very entertaining. The character of the Mexican bandit will be an Italian, the film hero will be an American, the evil sheriff a German, and the salon singer will be an Israeli.

Tarantino announced in 2016 that he plans to retire when he finishes his tenth film. It’s only been two years since his last successful film, but the scale for a new film is already high.

In sweet anticipation of the new film, Tarantino was asked if the new film might be Kill Bill 3 to which the director said 'Why not?'
