'That '90s Show': Ashton Kutcher about spin-off

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, the married couple who met on the original ‘That '70s Show’ in 1998, are set to reprise their roles as Kelso and Jackie in the upcoming Netflix spin-off, ‘That '90s Show’.

Ashton Kutcher recently, in an interview on the occasion of the premiere of the film ‘Vengeance’, revealed that the new episodes of this iconic series have already been filmed. The new series will be broadcast on Netflix, and Ashton stated that the reunion itself with the whole team was unreal.

"It was really nostalgic to be back on set," he said. "It's all the same people who made the '70s series famous, so it was quite bizarre."

After the spin-off was announced last year, there was speculation about whether Ashton and Mila would be among those returning. Speaking now about the decision, Ashton revealed that it was important to both him and Mila to pay back the show that launched them into stardom.

"Mila and I have been thinking about it," Ashton said. "We thought, look, we're in the position we're in now because of that streak, so let's go back and do it."

Although the media reports that most of the old cast members will only appear as guest stars in the new spin-off, Ashton revealed a little more about his and Mila's involvement, revealing that they have been filming on set for a week.

We just got back from a week of partying on set. It was so spontaneous and fun," he said.

In this sequel, Eric and Donna's daughter comes to her grandparents for summer vacation at the famous Point Place and that's where the story begins that follows her and her 5 friends. And since the nineties are now a fashion imperative, it will be interesting to see their styling in this sequel.

Netflix has yet to announce an official release date for the spin-off. But we're sure we won't have to wait long. Are you also eager to see how the merry seventies turn into the cool nineties?
