The fifth season of the popular series "Stranger Things" is coming!
The first scene of the fifth season of "Stranger Things" is revealed!
It seems like it's been a century since we watched the last episode of "Stranger Things" season four. That was last July, and we'll probably have to wait a while longer for the next and final season. However, the scriptwriters of the series decided to give their fans a small teaser, which was enough to start various theories.
The screenwriters revealed the opening scene from the fifth season on the official X profile.
"Season 5. Chapter 1. Scene 1. The sound of cold wind. Howling trees. And... A child's voice. Singing a familiar song," the post reads. There, that's it. This is definitely the beginning of the fifth season. The announcement sparked a lot of fan speculation about the child's voice from the start, to whom it belongs, where the scene takes place, and what is actually going to happen in the next scene.

Fans recalled a scene
"It must be Will," wrote one fan, while another recalled the moment in episode 7 of season 1 when Will was lying on the floor and singing the song Should I Stay or Should I Go. However, there were also dissatisfied fans. One wrote: "You're teasing us with crumbs... more please," while another added: "How you keep us in suspense (PS can't wait for season 5)."
Recall, that Matt and Ross Duffer revealed that the first episode was written a long time ago and it was titled "The Crawl." In addition, the Duffer brothers hinted that the fifth season is also the last, and that is exactly why they are preparing a real spectacle.
The action of the series will take place in the already-known Hawkins, but in the last season, we can also expect a return to the roots of the first season, especially when it comes to favorite characters. According to previous announcements, viewers will witness the return of the original group of friends that started this global phenomenon. Those are Dustin, Mike, Will, Lucas, and Eleven. In addition to the return of favorite characters, the pace of the new season will be intense from start to finish.
The Duffer brothers are set to wear us down emotionally with the final season, and Matt said that when they pitched the fifth season to Netflix executives, it was "really emotional" and that there were tears. We can not wait!
