The scene with the elderly John Lennon delighted many
Julian Lennon, the son of the music legend, also gave his opinion about that scene.
Three years ago, in 2019, the film "Yesterday" was released in theaters throughout the world, and the scene with the elder John Lennon delighted many.
After a road trip, Jack, played by Himesh Patel, encounters John Lennon, played by Robert Carlyle, in a secluded area.
Julian Lennon, the music legend's son, also commented on the scene.
"I actually loved that movie 'Yesterday' until they did that weird impression of what Dad would look like in his seventies and eighties, up on a Scottish or Irish island," said Julian Lennon on "Hiking with Kevin" and continued:
"It kind of threw off the whole movie for me... I didn't need it, I don't think it did. And it was just weird," said Lennon.

Movie producers may be sued in the future if their trailers mislead audiences. This month, U.S. District Judge Stephen Wilson sided with two Ana de Armas fans in a lawsuit against Universal Pictures in California, setting a precedent.
After seeing De Armas in the trailer, prosecutors rented the 2019 film "Yesterday," only to learn that all of her scenes had been deleted before the film's release.
They subsequently filed a lawsuit against Universal, which attempted to dismiss the case citing First Amendment free speech protections.
"Essentially, a trailer is an advertisement designed to sell a film by providing consumers with a preview of the film," the ruling said.
