Why you should try a meat diet?
Although metabolism usually slows down significantly after the age of 50, there are those who find it slower throughout their lives, and a meat diet is particularly useful and effective for them.
Each of us knows at least one person who, despite having the feeling that he is constantly eating something, had never a problem with being overweight. Thanks to their fast metabolism, such people often have the privilege of enjoying all the foods they like without remorse. Although the metabolism slows down after the age of 50, there are those who struggle with it throughout their lives, but the good thing is that there is a diet that will help them.
A meat diet is a great option for all those with a big appetite and a slow metabolism who always have the feeling that they simply cannot eat vegetables because they feel like they didn't eat at all. The way the meat diet works is similar to the principle of the keto diet since both of them break down fats more easily to avoid carbohydrates, which the body then uses as fuel. But there are significant differences between them.

With the keto diet, one is allowed to eat a certain amount of carbohydrates every day, while with the meat diet, they are completely forbidden. As with the meat, the diet, as its name suggests, emphasizes eating meat, salmon and other fish, eggs and dairy products, and olives, zucchini and pumpkin, as well as the use of vegetable oils are allowed. As far as fruit is concerned, only berries can be eaten.
This diet has been considered controversial by many because of the belief that it is better to avoid plant-based foods because of the pesticides and insecticides it contains, which often cause indigestion, but many nutritionists agree that it works quickly, 40% faster than the others. Dr. Paul Saladino, one of the leading proponents of this diet, says that for all those who want to lose weight, the problem is usually a lack of stearic acid due to which the body does not burn fat fast enough, so it is recommended to increase the intake of fats and oils of plants and animals.
In addition, foods of animal origin contain significant amounts of coenzyme Q10, riboflavin, zinc, vitamins B5 and B12, and vitamin K, all of which in turn accelerate calorie burning. We must not forget that increased protein intake means an easier increase in muscle mass, which in turn means faster fat dissolution.
