Bo Derek and Aidan from Sex and the City got married after 18 years
Bo Derek said earlier that she thought she would not find love again after her husband John Derek, who was 30 years older than her, died of a heart attack in 1998.
Actor couple Bo Derek (64) and John Corbett (60) got married in secret eight months ago after 20 years of relationship. The couple has been together since 2002.
Corbett, who plays Carrie’s crush Aidan in the series ‘Sex and the City’, revealed the big news in an interview.
- We got married around Christmas. Bo and I got married, ”Corbett said excitedly, pointing to the wedding ring. He added that they are a couple who cares about their privacy, so a small circle of people, ie family, and friends, knew about their wedding.
He added that they got married because they did not want the pandemic year 2020 to be a year that no one likes. But she admitted that Corbett, when she met him, immediately attracted her.
"He's full of life, he makes me laugh," the actress said. Her most impressive role is from the 1979 film ‘Ten’ in which she comes out of the shallows in a bathing suit with braids in her hair.
- They say I'm an icon, whatever that means. I don't consider myself an icon. But I played a role that was definitely iconic- said the actress.
