Did you watch "In Search of Tomorrow" documentary

A new, third trailer was released for David Weiner's documentary "In Search of Tomorrow" (In Search of Darkness), and the documentary was supposed to arrive in December of 2021. But that didn't happen. He arrived on April 16, the last year. This epic four-minute trailer features interview clips with footage from iconic sci-fi films of the 80s, including Star Trek, The Last Starfighter, Bill & Ted, Flight of the Navigator, Tron, Back to the Future, Weird Science, Star Trek, Inner Space… Before was extended, the documentary had four hours of material, and now it has even five.

The "In Search of Tomorrow,"  documentary explores the influence, legacy and relevance of those cult sci-fi films of the eighties, through the prism of those who created them, and turned their vision into reality. It is a kind of love letter to the sci-fi movies we grew up with, movies that dared to ask the question "What if?", movies that offered their vision of the future of technology, society and culture that delighted, fascinated and frightened us in equal measure.

The executive producer is Robin Block. The producer, screenwriter and director is the aforementioned David Weiner (In Search of Darkness Parts I & II). In the documentary are also Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters I & II), Gale Anne Hurd (The Terminator, Aliens), Peter Weller (Robocop, Buckaroo Banzai), Paul Verhoeven (RoboCop), Nicholas Meyer (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan), Sean Young (Blade Runner, Dune), Henry Thomas (E.T.), Sam J. Jones (Flash Gordon), Bruce Boxleitner (TRON), Adrienne Barbeau (Escape from New York, Swamp Thing), Lysette Anthony (Krull), Jesse Ventura (Predator, The Running Man), Julie Brown (Earth Girls Are Easy), Gene Simmons (Runaway), Randal Kleiser and Joey Cramer (Flight of the Navigator), Mark Goldblatt (The Terminator, RoboCop), John Dykstra (Star Wars, Star Trek) and Stewart Raffill (The Philadelphia Experiment, The Ice Pirates, Mac and Me).
