How to organize your wardrobe
We need a little willpower and an organizational plan.
We all wait for the day to open the wardrobe and inside we see rows of neatly arranged clothes, sorted by color and purpose. And what prevents us from turning that thought into reality? First of all, we need a little willpower and an organization plan, and below we bring you some tips that will make your life easier in the long run.
Visibility is key
A well-organized wardrobe makes it easier to choose clothes, and the first step is that everything is transparent and that you can immediately see what is available to you. The advice is to have shelves inside the wardrobe so that you can see what is hanging and what is folded at the same time and imagine an outfit combination.
Arrange everything by way of dressing
Let the things you wear more often be more easily accessible, and the things you wear less often can be somewhere behind them. Depending on what you wear first, put your e.g. underwear should be closer than pants, T-shirt, then shirt and other pieces of clothing.
Create a zone for things you will wear again
Certain pieces of clothing must be washed immediately after one wear, but there are also those that you can wear several times before they need to end up in the laundry basket. It would not be a bad idea to set aside a section for hanging clothes that are in that "transitional" phase. You can also make a shelf for pajamas, tracksuits, and other things that are worn around the house every day.
What to hang?
It is very important what should be hung on the hangers and what should be folded and placed on the shelves. A general rule is that what is woven should hang, and what is sewn should be folded. Pieces such as business shirts, jackets, and suits must be hung to prevent creasing, while long, heavy dresses should be avoided as they could lose their shape in the shoulders.

What to fold?
Knitted clothes should be folded or rolled into a roller shape and placed in a drawer, preferably with a mothball. Sweaters that hang on your hangers can lose their shape over time, and the same goes for other delicate clothing. You should also take care of which pieces are bigger so that they don't go over the smaller ones.
Drawer organization
In order for your drawers to be clear, you should think about the Marie Kondo principle, which says that things should be arranged vertically in the drawers, not horizontally because that way you get more space and better visibility. That way, when the drawers are opened, you can immediately see what's inside, without rummaging around.
