Olivia Newton-John's cancer battle!

Olivia Newton-John (73) was a big star and sex symbol in the late 70s and early 80s, thanks to her role in the film "Brilliant" and her song "Physical". These days she is going through the most difficult moments of her life as she is fighting a battle with breast cancer which is in the fourth stage.

She was first diagnosed in 1992, returning in 2013 and again in 2017. She stated that she is holding on. Olivia is getting stronger every day and we hope that she is getting better. She said that positive thinking is very important for her. Her husband, John Easterling, who grows medical cannabis on their ranch in the USA, helps her in her fight. Olivia stated that she has her days and days with enormous pain, but the cannabis that her husband grows has become a very important part of her healing and dealing with the disease. She is very lucky to have him by her side.

Olivia pointed out that medical cannabis helps her with the chronic pain she feels due to the disease. She is lobbying the Australian government for years to approve the use of medical cannabis for patients like her, those who are battling cancer. She appeared on 'The One Show' last year, and even then she said she felt really good.

"I'm great, I've had metastatic cancer for seven years, but I'm fine," she said. She added that every new day is a gift, and that, among other things, it is treated with herbal preparations, but also with medical cannabis.

Recall, Olivia is battling cancer for the third time but she does not want to give up. She talked about the disease with host Gayle King on the CBS show 'This Morning'. She invited the hostess to the house and showed her the property where she grows marijuana and the stable where she keeps miniature horses. Newton-John claims marijuana helped her with her health problems. Although she was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, the same day her father passed away, and in 2013 doctors shocked her by the fact that cancer had spread. After that, the cancer went into remission but came back again two years ago when Olivia’s doctors said she was in stage 4. She says the pain can be unbearable. She also said she doesn't like to talk about death.

"I can die tomorrow. A tree can fall on me " said the singer who thinks it is easier for her when she can meditate and it is very important that she is surrounded by people who love her.
