Revive your hair with this great peeling

Proper care is the first and basic step if you want thick, shiny and long hair. But all those products we use, especially if they contain silicones, as well as oils, serums, and the like, accumulate on the hair over time and clog the pores on the scalp, which leads to dandruff and hair loss.

While taking care of our hair, we completely forget about the scalp. This is a big mistake, say hairdressers, because only if the scalp is cared for, we can expect the hair to grow well and look healthy and shiny. That's why we should exfoliate the scalp from time to time. However, although there are ready-made, industrial products that will 'do the job' for you, you can make something like this at home and ensure exactly the same effect.

Dermatologist Francesca Fusco recommends exfoliating with sugar, by adding sugar to the shampoo: "By adding sugar to the daily dose of shampoo, we remove dead cells and enable the conditioner to reach the hair and roots more effectively. At the same time, we clean the hair better and give it the necessary moisture.''

Sugar will allow your scalp to be gently exfoliated and remove dead cells that block the growth of beautiful and well-groomed hair. The best thing is that the sugar does not leave a mark because the water will wash it off, but there is an important rule - you must not exfoliate your hair too often because it dries the hair quickly. It would be best to repeat the peeling after every 4th or 5th wash and you will definitely notice the results.

Ingredients for peeling with sugar

  • 30 grams of brown sugar
  • 1 to 2 spoons of hair shampoo (preferably herbal)
Mix the ingredients well before use.

Hair peeling rules

  1. The hair must be wet - the scrub is not applied to dry hair.
  2. Rub the exfoliating mixture into the scalp.
  3. When you apply the scrub to your hair, massage your scalp. The massage should last between 2 and 3 minutes.
  4. After the massage, you will wash your hair with an ordinary mild shampoo.
  5. Then apply the products you normally use to your hair.
  6. Rinse your hair well.
