How to make pesto sauce at home
When making pasta, there are numerous options for sauce - carbonara, and bolognese, but one of the most popular varieties is pesto.
Pesto is usually made from pine nuts and is used not only for pasta but also in sandwiches and even as a dip for crackers or tortilla chips. Like any other sauce, it can be made at home and modified to make it more nutritious and healthy.
For this purpose, avocado, pumpkin seeds, and other vegetables and spices of choice can be added to the sauce, and walnuts also increase the amount of protein and improve cognitive function. The beauty of this recipe is that you can change almost all the ingredients as you wish, and in the end, you can add some meat as an additional source of protein.
